Selection Process

The recruitment is done on a regular basis from individuals coming to the office, through advertisements, recruitment rallies in neighboring villages and recruitment, rallies for the Armed & Para-Military Forces.

Field and Parameters / Guidelines for Selection

  • Minimum education standards (High School)
  • Physical Fitness (Minimum heights 5’.7”, chest built)
  • Background verification
  • The strength should be a mix of all age group with maximum being from age 25 year to 35 years. (Ceiling age for civilian 40 years and ex-serviceman 45 years)
  • Aptitude for the profession
  • A ratio of 8 to 10 percent of Ex-servicemen
  • The strength should be a mix of all communities.
